Use of Teacher Off Duty

Teacher Off Duty (the "Service") provides AI-generated substitute teaching plans and related documents for teachers. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. Please provide accurate information and keep your details up to date.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account and agree to these Terms. Teacher Off Duty is intended for teachers, educators, and school staff.

Subscription Plans & Billing

We offer paid subscription plans, including Sub Plans, All Access, and Annual Access. Pricing is shown on our Pricing page. Payments are processed securely by Stripe, and Teacher Off Duty does not store your full credit card number.

Free Trial

New accounts may start a free trial that lasts 7 days or covers 2 plan builds, whichever comes first. No credit card is required to start a trial. When the trial ends you can choose a paid plan to keep creating new plans; you are not charged automatically when a trial ends.

Renewals & Cancellation

All plans renew automatically until canceled. Monthly plans renew each month and Annual Access renews yearly. You can cancel anytime from Account → Manage Billing. Plans remain active through the end of your current billing period.

Refund Policy

Because Teacher Off Duty provides immediate access to digital tools and AI-generated content, payments are generally non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law or where a billing error occurred. You can cancel at any time from Account → Manage Billing to avoid future charges, and your plan remains active through the end of the current billing period. If you believe you were charged in error, email us at support@subplansstudio.com and we will review it.

User Content

You are responsible for the teacher-entered content you provide, including classroom information and profile details. Please avoid entering sensitive student personal information unless necessary and appropriate.

AI-Generated Plans

Plans created by the Service are drafts and should be reviewed by the teacher before use. We do not guarantee that generated plans are error-free, complete, or appropriate for every classroom. You are responsible for reviewing and adapting content for your students.

Appropriate Use

You agree to use the Service for lawful educational purposes and not to misuse, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service. You may not share your account access in a way that violates our subscription terms.

Limitation of Liability

Teacher Off Duty is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or any AI-generated content. Our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us for the Service.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and templates, is owned by Teacher Off Duty and protected by applicable law. The teacher information you enter and the plans you generate for your own classroom use are yours to use, adapt, print, and share with substitutes and colleagues. You grant us permission to process your content only as needed to operate and improve the Service.

Service Availability

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control.

Warranty Disclaimer

The Service and all generated content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing and adapting generated content before classroom use.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are violated or if needed to protect the Service or other users. If your account is closed, your access ends and your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
