About Teacher Off Duty

Teacher Off Duty (the "Service") is an AI-powered tool that helps teachers turn their curriculum into ready-to-teach substitute teacher plans, emergency plans, remote learning plans, extended leave plans, and substitute binder documents. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and basic account details. We use this to authenticate you, manage your subscription, and provide access to your saved plans.

Teacher Profile & Classroom Information

You may enter teacher profile and classroom information—such as grade level, subjects, schedules, routines, and procedures—to generate more useful plans. This information is stored with your account so you can reuse it across plans.

Generated Plans & Saved Content

Plans you generate and save are stored with your account. You can view, edit, and delete your saved plans at any time from My Documents.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Teacher Off Duty does not store your full credit card number. Payment data is handled according to Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Analytics & Service Operations

We use basic analytics and service-operation logs to understand how the Service is used, improve features, keep the Service running, and troubleshoot issues. This may include aggregated, non-identifying usage data.

Data Sharing

We do not sell user classroom content. We share information with service providers only as needed to operate the Service (for example, Stripe for payment processing), and as required by law.

Security

We take reasonable safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's & Student Information

Teacher Off Duty is intended for use by teachers and educators. Users should not enter sensitive personal information about students unless necessary and appropriate. Keep student information general (for example, use first names or initials rather than full identifying details).
